week 37 day 5

Need to use up some older package of ground beef I got at the Aldi, not sure why. I usually just use our ground goat or lamb or get beef at the meat processor. It's organic too. Might have been on sale
So either some sort of pasta or cabbage casserole type dish
haven't decided yet

ended up making stuffed cabbage soup, made this before and it was good. Also baking an apple cake
I try to mostly combine baking bread or cake with soup or stew, it goes well
especially in this weather

I wish my husband would like soup or stew more, but he doesn't, so I don't end up making it often. I do like apple cake, and make that often.

schnitzel, potatoes, salad, rice soup
and I am having a piece of apple cake right now

I thought that place went under when the covid was going on?
Ours here closed down
We used to go to one in Orlando while we were in college and would sit there all afternoon and eat while studying. Back then we could eat a lot and not get overweight . I actually liked some of their food . But this was in the early 90s. Quality went down later on and we stopped going there

week 37 day 7

still 15 lbs to go, but I will do a 3 day drastic diet to move it along just as soon as it warms up

today chicken lo mein and leftover rice soup

almost let the day get away with me...but i didnt...went and tested the little fishing combo i got last year that i hated and put the new line on this winter and it functioned pretty good...good enough to test fish with it and see if its worth a darn...then i went and hiked !

i got outside and done something awesome like survival russia guy says to do !!

since I am lacking stuff in the grocery department today I am going to make something simple
Korean rice bowl with ground goat , cucumber and carrot salad and broccoli ( those I have frozen)
