I was living there the one year they tried it. I think it was 1967. It only took one year for the powers that be to realize that Arizona had enough daylight. They didn't need an extra hour. Wise choice.

I will change clocks shortly! Hubby will get home from work about 1pm , but he'll gain an hour, it will be noon here! I need an extra hour this morning anyway, I have too much to do! But now I can take a short nap, change the clocks and feel like I'm ahead! And then get made fun of by LadyLocust for going to bed too early!!😃

Or can't figure it out!
That is so true!! One lady I clean for (she's 94) has a nice CD player alarm clock, her daughter got it for her 15 years ago!! The daughter is over every Saturday and she will set that clock during the time changes! The mom will unplug it that evening until I get there the next day to set it correctly, lol! The daughter always messes up the alarm. Mom likes her easy listening CD to wake her, it ends up with the blaring alarm when the daughter sets it! This has been our secret and routine for 15 years! 😃

I recently added my Cuisinart toaster oven ~ air fryer, blah, blah, blah to the mix. I only had it for a couple months before I finally set the clock on it.
