@grayghost668 Your words are coming true in Canada. They will try that here too if we don't get the Dems out of office in November.

The Trudeau regime has introduced an Orwellian new law called the Online Harms Bill C-63, which will give police the power to retroactively search the Internet for ‘hate speech’ violations and arrest offenders, even if the offence occurred before the law existed.This new bill is aimed at safeguarding the masses from so-called “hate speech.”http://Revolver.news reports: The real shocker in this bill is the alarming retroactive aspect. Essentially, whatever you’ve said in the past can now be weaponized against you by today’s draconian standards. Historian Dr. Muriel Blaive has weighed in on this draconian law, labeling it outright “mad.” She points out how it literally spits in the face of all Western legal traditions, especially the one about only being punished if you infringed on a law that was valid at the time of committing a crime.https://thepeoplesvoice.tv/canada-to-imprison-anyone-who-has-ever-posted-hate-speech-online/

That would be an "ex post facto" law and is unconstitutional in the U.S. and in Canada.

Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms

Section 2 Fundamental Freedoms
2 Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:
(b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;

Section 11 Proceedings in criminal and penal matters
11 Any person charged with an offence has the right
(g) not to be found guilty on account of any act or omission unless, at the time of the act or omission, it constituted an offence under Canadian or international law or was criminal according to the general principles of law recognized by the community of nations;

Since when do these criminal governments follow Constitutions or Laws they don't agree with?

They don't, I'm just pointing out precisely how they are blatantly violating the Canadian Constitution.

Speech is one thing, which they could argue is somehow dangerous to society, but passing an Ex Post Facto law is unequivocally unconstitutional. They might as well throw away their constitution at that point.

I have to say, if the Canadian people allow this tyranny, they deserve everything they will get. There is always a point in which a people stand up and say NO…or they turn into slaves. This is their point of no return.
