1) Where were you born ?
2) How far away did you end up from where you were born?
3) Are you happy where you live now?
4) Would you move back to your home town if you could?
5) Do you ever go back to visit it?

1.) Brooklyn, NY

2.) At one point 2,122 miles to Tucson AZ, but now I am 1500 miles closer.

3.) Yes. Made the move after graduating from college, and never regretted it.

4.) Brooklyn? Definitely not. Tucson, maybe.

5.) Yes, I have been back to both, but I don't have family in Brooklyn anymore. New York relatives are mostly on the South Shore of Long Island. Brother and sister and their families are in Tucson.

Love these questions, Buttercup. All interrelated. Not many people do that :great:

Thanks for stepping up, Soul Seeker. Looking forward to it. They should be good.

I don't think I could be much further away- other side of the world.
Yes, though I could live anywhere
Probably not, its changed
No; not as an adult

Thank you @ButtercupKid

1800 miles for now
Yes, feels like home; and no, ready for more adventures.
No. I left because I was done with it! Needed new adventures.
Not often. Have been back twice in 16 years. I miss it because it was beautiful, historic, and felt like there was a lot to do.

Sorry I'm late.

Believe it or not, these are tougher than most questions!

1. Keanu Reeves - He is very talented, I love his movies, he is a serious shooter, and he is not a d-bag in real life. I like Mark Walberg too, and for the same reasons.

2. That's a tie between Emily Blunt / Scarlett Johansson. This is based solely on the talent v. hotness equation. And again, I love the vast majority of their movies.

3. In honor of Friday the 13th, I am going to say Jason Vorhees. Of course Darth Vader has to end up in the top 5 villains of my youth, along with Sauron and any foreign bad guy in a Bruce Willis movie.

4. I love the Mel Gibson movies The Patriot and Braveheart. They may have replaced some history with Hollywood, but there is no denying that they stir up patriotic rebellion on one's mind while being very watchable. After that 'insert quality war movie here'. Blackhawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, 1917, Hacksaw Ridge, Fury, Red Dawn, etc., etc.

5. I like movie theater popcorn and have my own oil popper and supplies to make it at home. Large gourmet yellow corn popped in coconut oil with a moderate amount of that orange fake-butter salt, pink salt and real butter. Served, of course, with a large ice cold Coca-Cola. However I also enjoy cinnamon-sweet kettle-corn and jalapeno cheddar popcorn, both I purchase versus making.

1.) Denzel Washington
2.) Betty Gilpin
3.) Robert DeNiro
4.) Second Hand Lions, but seriously, this is like asking which child you love the most.
5.) Regular popcorn

Excellent questions, SoulSeeker. Great job. Judging from Magus' response, he would be an excellent candidate for next week.

On a hike with a buddy. Next morning was woke up by a 3rd buddy who hiked in in the pouring rain to tell me my wife had a car wreck and was in the hospital and I needed to get there ASAP> Wife had a broken neck.

Have to think on that one a while

Like favorite children, I have none. But there are a few actors I prefer over others.
1. Christian Bale, Mel Gibson, Joaquin Phoenix, Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise, Ben Kingsley.
2. Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Keira Knightly, Helena Bonham Carter, Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn.
3. Anakin Skywalker, many others, too many to name.
4. Princess Bride; all LOTR and Hobbit movies; Life of Pi; many others (war movies, period pieces); Little Women with Christian Bale and Winona Ryder.
5. I love to hate popcorn but I eat it anyway. Prefer to have Spike (a seasoning) on it instead of salt and butter. I don't like my air popper and I don't like it from the microwave and the newfangled flat stove tops don't make it very well either.

1.) I got dowsized from what I considered my dream job. Thought I would be there my entire career. You wouldn't believe what I gave to that company, and got thrown out like yesterday's trash. Changed me forever.

2.) We are all quick to ask but very slow to thank. I thank all the time for everything. One of my Live By lines now, and I think Jazzy posted it: What if all you had to survive was what you thanked God for yesterday?

3.) No. I don't tempt fate.

4.) Country music. Classical music. Conservatives.

5.) Eliminate recreational drugs. There would be a massive reduction in the population.

Bonus: The entire Democratic Party.

What was the worst day of your life? Five years ago when a relation died suddenly.

Have you ever thanked the god(s) of your understanding for an unanswered prayer? Yes, after my sons accident; I prayed to every God out there with no shame.

Have you ever laughed at "Instant Karma"? All the time

What do you love now that you hated as a teenager? My bed

If you were suddenly supreme leader on earth, what would you do first? Remove the 1%. See below.

Who would you like to see skydiving without a chute from the ISS? The above, and anyone who pollutes the water systems.

didn't have time to answer these earlier

1. I have had so many it's hard to pick....here are a few: day of my accident 2019. day my best friend died 2019, day my Heidi dog died, these are recent, older ones, day ex tried to kill me, day of first panic attack, one really bad thing happened to daughter when she was a teenager don't ask, day my husband had accident and head injury ( during covid) , day my godmother found out she was going to die from cancer and I got married to first husband ( same day) , day godmother died
so yeah probably day I was born LOL, and I didn't even get born with a doctor, but at home

2. no, no gods do anything for me, they just like to play games with us if they exist or maybe I haven't found the correct one yet

3. Schadenfreude, yes many times, like some jerk driving crazy on the interstate and almost causing you to have an accident, and then seeing them pulled over after you catch up with them some way down the road

4. what you said LOL, I would probably just stop at animals and make them all vegetarians, there would be no suffering of any kind

5. just one? The entire world population of all politicians and manipulators

there you go! Great questions

1 Your Fav Actor - tough one, but I’ll go with Tom Hanks (funny or serious he’s a good actor. Did a movie where 75% of the film is him and a volleyball, and it was good)
2 Fav Actress - tough one, Natalie Portman to look at, but I think Marisa Tormei stole the show in My Cousin Vinny
3 Villian you love to hate - Hillary? In a movie though, any film with John Malcovich is the bad guy is good
4 Fav Movie - wow too many, Hoosiers, Forest Gump, Goodfellas, Godfather I and II, who knows, we’d be here a while
5 Regular Popcorn (with salt and butter) or designer Popcorn - movie theater popcorn with extra butter

You like all the sort of movies I absolutely hate with a passion. My husband made me sit through Braveheart at a movie theatre when it came out. It was like a train wreck, I just couldn't look away but hated every minute of it LOL After that he always went to the movies by himself unless we all went to a Harry Potter movie as a family....
I don't like Lord of the rings, I don't like star wars and I hate Titanic too LOL
