Nope SN10 flew to 10000 feet, pivoted to a pancake position, turned and landed perfectly back at launch site. SN11 is ready to go next to a higher flight.

After a winter of 4" snow falls that would mostly melt before the next 4" snow fall, maybe every other week or so, the ground here got a good soaking. The last big snow fall maybe 6 or 8 weeks ago melted real slow and soaked in well. Last week we had several days in a row with a few inches of snow that melted just in time for more snow, so that was well needed. Saturday morning there was 9" of snow that mostly melted by sunset and finished melting and soaking in by Sunday afternoon. This evening we had about 2 hours of steady rain (probably a light rain for those of you who don't live in a desert) and it soaked in well with minimal puddles and no runoff.
I think I finally have the property terraced and mulched enough to properly allow the water to soak into the ground. I guess that means I can continue scattering mulch and compost, because it is obviously working. dancing chicken

Do y’all like racing?
When I was little we would go to Bowmen Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem. It was a small track known for local stock car races and having awesome demolition derby races. One time my step dad bought an old Pontiac something and entered in the derby. We tore everything out of that car and spray painted it. And then to see our work, and step dad, in the demolition pile! We had a blast! My step dad didn’t get hurt so it was all good fun! 🤩

The crowd favorite, and mine too, is the chain race. Has anyone seen one before? Each team has two drivers, two cars, chained together. The front car has an engine with no breaks. The second car has breaks with no engine. This is also a demolition style race! 😆

Here’s some snap shots of a video you can find on you tube. It’s much better live!

Ahh, good times with the fam!

I don't have Glaucoma, the veins in the back of my eye are blocked which is causing blood leakage into the retina so I have an appointment in Richmond, which is an hour away,at a retina specialist. If it isn't corrected pronto it can lead to a stroke so the eye doctor sent me to the ER for a CT scan and MRI to check for stroke signs. I still have my MRI appointments the Neurologist set up for my brain and neck so now I have to cancel the brain MRI but keep the neck MRI.

The eye doctor said I had some kind of stroke in my eye. The vein that's blocked he can't fix but he said he could give me treatments to make my vision better, how much better I'm not sure. The fact that he can't fix the blocked vein means this will be a life long thing. He said it's caused by high blood pressure, sleep apnea, smoking and snoring. I do smoke and snore but I don't have sleep apnea and don't think I have high blood pressure even though occasionally it does get rather high but it also gets rather low. So he told me to get a blood pressure tester and check it 2 or 3 times a day and record it and bring it to him so he can see it.He'll decide if I he needs to give me medicine for it by what he sees.

Have you been tested for apnea? Chances are if you snore you have it.
My BIL had all the same condition you do.
High BP, smoker, diabetes, and now kidney failure. He just ignored all his symptoms until it was too late. Today he is blind and had one leg amputated.
Stay on top of your condition and don't wait for something bad to happen.
We all enjoy your company here.

Hope they take care of it soon.

I had sleep apnea during my 2nd marriage because I had to take her to work and was only getting 3-4 hours of sleep a day,it caught up with me after awhile. After she died I felt a lot better and wasn't as tired since I got more sleep and got retested and I no longer had sleep apnea. Several years before my 2nd wife I was still with my 1st wife and that's when my Neurological stuff started and my Neurologist said sometimes sleep apnea causes it and had me tested then too and I didn't have it. I've snored my entire life though. Liker I said, during my 2nd marriage with all that lack of sleep I could tell I had it. I was dozing off all day, waking up in the night gasping for air, gagging sometimes too when I woke up,I felt like I was suffocating. After she died and I didn't have to get up at 5am anymore, all that went away so I got retested and I no longer had it. As for the blood pressure I have never got it tested and had it too high, high enough they were a little concerned but never bad enough that they checked into it. It gets pretty low sometimes too. Once in the ER it was so low it kept triggering the alarm,it was only around 60 over 40 if I remember right, not sure since I've slept since then but it was pretty low. They switched it to the other arm and it was ok.I'm not diabetic either,I have low sugar which dad had and when he got older it turned into diabetes.
I enjoy all you guys' company too, just wish I had more time for it.

I've been checking my blood pressure for the eye doctor and decided to compare my sides and my left arm averages around 90 over 60 but my right arm averages around 165 over 70. I think I've got circulatory problems. I'm going to show it to the eye doctor and also mention it to my family doctor.

Yea, I would be talking to my Doctor ASAP.

British researchers looked at the results of 20 studies in which blood pressure was measured in both arms. People with an arm-to-arm difference of 15 points or more were twice as likely to have peripheral artery disease—essentially cholesterol-clogged arteries in the arms, legs, or other non-heart parts of the body. The name may sound dismissive, but the disease isn’t. Peripheral artery disease affects at least 12 million Americans, more than heart disease and stroke combined. It kills some, maims others, and makes life painful for countless more.

A blood pressure difference of 10 to 15 points or more between arms also boosted the chances of having a stroke or dying from cardiovascular disease.

Yeah I had looked it up too on 3 or 4 articles and mine's quite a bit ,more than 10-15 points, around 70 points if it's 1 point for each number that is. You can tell I'm not a doctor ;).

Worked on a ladder hang lights yeaterday, a little sore, have not held arms over my head that long in a year.
I have been retired for a year now, I have enjoyed playing on the farm & sleeping late when I felt like it.
I did not think I was this out of shape, guess I should take long walks with DW.
