I'm going to throw this in here because it is car related. I took my Highlander to the dealership to have a recall fixed. No problem & 4 hours later it was ready. Understand here that I'm a big guy. So I got my key & got in & WTH? The seat was all the way back as in I didn't know that it went that far back. It was also lowered all the way. I felt like a midget in a big truck. How big was the person that did that, over 7 ft tall & 500 lbs? Does big foot work at the Toyota dealership? I was blown away. Also it took me 20 minutes of fiddling with the seat to get it back to the way I drive. I adjusted it 3 years ago when we got it & hadn't touched the controls since then & I forgot how they worked. Duh!

Sounds like my wife and I. She runs the seat as close to the wheel as it'll go and raise it up. And still she can't see the hood. I can't even sit on the dge of the seat there, let alone get in. I have to run it all the way down and back and still have crank my head around to get in. Not sure she could get the seat in my truck up far enough to drive it

wow, that is interesting, I always used to wait 'til they were 10 years old because the price seemed to drop dramatically, they already had a scuff of 2. And the fact that replacing either of my duallies would cost more than I paid for fairly large chunks of land, not so long ago.

I learned to drive in an old pickup, had cars a short time but only liked one of them. In 80 i got a 69 f-100, then a 78 ford. Bought a new silverado in 94, sold it last year and bought and '02 silverado.

Must be more of us than i thought. Last year i saw old trucks bringing big money. Trucks with 200k miles selling for $10-12k.

I sold my 1966 Ford twin frame, I now have a 2005 Nissan with 350,000
Miles, got my money out of it, it is a back up truck now.
A have 2022 Toyota Tacoma, 50,000 miles, I think??
And a Kubota tractor 2021 with less than 1000 miles on it.

My wife has a Honda Accord 1997, I replaced many sensor on it & the cooling fan runs all the time. We unplug it when not driving it, still haven't found the problem, going to replace the relay this week.
But the rodeo & sit or Gas hand are never where I left them in my Black
Tacoma truck. She love it, AC is great & it have power everything with Bluetooth.

Guy on the radio today said that 11 out of the top 12 vehicle sold in the US today that have proven records of exceeding 200,000 miles without a major repair were made by either Honda or Toyota. Only the standard non-eco boost non-BS non-EV Ford F150 made the list.

I don't know if all toyota dealers do it, but around here the dealer does oil changes for the same price as it would cost you to buy the oil. so perhaps that is part of their longevity along with a higher standard of quality.

2015 Fiat 500 Lounge
When I bought it April 2017 it had 31 miles on it.
Mileage now is 17881.
$25 fills it up and I can get 436 miles to tank.
Insurance company told me if I could keep mileage lower than 12000 miles yearly.
My insurance would drop by half.
And it did.
But I have had a Porsche,Corvette, Ranger, Austin Healey,
Might have small foot size 4-4.5 but that baby can become lead if need be.
