Meet Hunter, or Trapper. He's 2 weeks old now. I'll bring him home in about 6 weeks.

This is one of my favorite kinds of dogs. They are so fun to watch running and playing. They go non stop. They have lots of energy and need lots of exercise. They are also sweet dogs with no interest in fighting or causing trouble. They just want to run and have fun.

I have seen this dog, but never knew the name, We are beagle hound people here.
There are a lot of bird dog people here, but not in my circles.

I had one when I was about 12 years old. I took him hunting every chance I could. They are great dogs.

Oh no! That’s absolutely heartbreaking! Wish there was something that could be done. I’m wondering about the trees I’m seeing blossoms on like cherries etc. also.
You can probably blame me for the weather change. I gave up on winter and put up the bird feeders, flag and wind spinners. Also pulled a bunch of plants out of the barn. That’s a guaranteed way to change the weather.

Getting ready for winter weather here in a couple of days, woodstove will go non-stop! That's the only heat we use😊
I installed a electric wall heater in the bathroom, otherwise the rest of our home is only heated by a woodstove and with our cold 20 to 30 degree nights it runs constantly, I have a great neighbor that keeps my firewood rack out on the covered deck full from a tarped stack of about two cords that's along side of our driveway. I built a stove pad that's wide enough that I can sit on the side with my back to the stove, when it's not too hot I love to lay my back against the stove, I've even fallen asleep a few times, but I have to be careful because sometimes, even with the dampers shut tight, that stove gets really hot.

It's a nicer feeling heat! We choose to heat with wood and are blessed to have all we can cut and split!

Good evening everyone. Hope your having a great weekend
Hi Erica! Just dropped in to say hello and good night. I have to be up at 2:45AM again tomorrow, and then try to drive home from New Mexico, so I'm hitting the rack as soon as I get done typing this. Hope everybody here has a great evening!
