My husband has said that he needs to go to work so he can rest a bit after a crazy weekend here.

I've been getting pots and raised beds ready and my lovely deer have already been checking them out!! My fault, I try to make pets out of them!

There was a movie a long time ago, I think The Rookie with Dennis Quaid, where the deer were eating the grass on the baseball field and they sprinkled hair clippings all over the field and the deer stayed away. It might be worth trying around the pots and garden.

I've actually tried that and it keeps MOST of the deer out. BUT, my one little girl likes to nose my hair and clippings don't stop her! Thought about stopping in a dog grooming shop and getting some of their clippings!!

Anyone know why the batch of sauerkraut I have going tastes like it has seltzer water in it all of a sudden? It’s very bubbly tasting. Did I over ferment it or something? Just coming up on a month. I just can’t seem to get edible sauerkraut to save my life.
