Well we all been thinking about you and hoping your okay. You know you are just crazy enough to go heading into the Bermuda Triangle on a dare and disappear in that time vortex the sic fi people on the history channel keep saying is there. LOL

My adopted sister is childproofing right now so she can watch my son. She is going to watch him because I am not feeling well.

I went online and finally found my way into getting my insurance card. I can go to an urgent care place tonight or try calling the doctor in the morning.

I need to pack a bag of some sort for my son.

We all need down days. That was something that I took a long time to learn. Far too many years of burning the candle at both ends chasing things that really didn’t matter. My brain thinks it’s thirty, my birth certificate says that I am 60 and my body is about 80. Pushed way too hard, too many traumas and accidents were not not good for me

Evening all, nice boring Sunday with a good workout lasting 70 min. Then I came home and prepared myself a wonderful sea scallop and brown rice dinner.

I have to get caught up tomorrow though. I’m still behind. Of course in this line of work I don’t think there really is such a thing as caught up.

What is this “caughtUp” thing you speak of? Is it not some superstitious goal created by the ancients to deceive us? Is it not illuminated by candles burning at both ends in a vain attempt to capture the impossible?

I went to the urgent care place tonight and I was diagnosed as having the flu. I start Tamiflu and a cough suppressant tomorrow morning once I can get it from the pharmacy.

I feel awful.

My adopted sister has my son right now. She is going to bring him back tonight so he can sleep in his crib and then take him to daycare in the morning for me. She also has breakfast duty for my son and she is picking up my prescriptions and some ginger ale for me.

Thank you to everyone who pushed me to go to the doctor. I didn't think I was as sick as I was.

I'm sorry it turned out to be the flu but I'm REALLY glad you went to the doctor. Accept the help for sure. You can't be sick. The little one depends on you.
Get lots of rest, follow the doctors orders and get better very soon. And of course check in here so we know your ok.
I'm really sorry you feel so awful. I was lucky I didn't get the flu but with my weakened immune system I suspect I will at some point this season.
