Once upon a time, I had some neighbors who asked if I could help them give their cat a pill (I had worked at a vet clinic for years). I went to their house, they were exasperated from trying. I got the pill and they were telling me the tale of many failed attempts. While they were talking I had given the cat the pill. They didn't even realize I did & couldn't believe it. If you hold them by the back of their neck with one hand (like their mama's pack them, doesn't hurt them) then use 2 fingers and pill in the mouth and blow in their face. They swallow to catch their breath when you blow in their face - no scratches and no grumpy kitters
