I was going to ask what y'all did with the leaves. Back when I was a kid, leaves was all we could afford. I haven't smoked anything but bud in years. Can you still render the plant parts as oil? I'm currently experimenting with a sunflower oil recipe, but I need a smaller pan to go inside my pressure cooker to get it just right. so far, all I've tried is ABV.

A lot of folks render for oil

Beautiful plant. Nice trichomes. Do you ever remove the trichomes from the buds after harvesting for making kief?

About 30 years ago I was registered and licensed in my province to grow medical cannabis for some of my clients that had cancer. For those that could not smoke or otherwise consume cannabis plant material the trichomes were ideal for making liquid infusions or tinctures that could be taken sublingually, as drops under the tongue. After drying but before decarboxylation and curing of the buds I would tumble off and collect the older, bigger trichomes to make infusions and tinctures for those clients. It's quite profound stuff.
