Whats going to happen in June in Phoenix that the grid will be going down?

It's a what if scenario. Nothing is scheduled.
If the grid went down in Phoenix, or even most of Arizona, and I would also include some parts of California, Nevada, New Mexico during the summertime and extreme heat, many will die for sure. No AC and no water. These dessert cities would be a nightmare to live in if the grid went down.
