Ive worked in Duluth about 24 years, spent quite a bit of time on the North Shore & SHT
I spent 5 formative years in Duluth from 63 to 68 maybe? I was young. Many memories of the lift bridge and ice cream.

I may revisit Duluth some day.

Welcome and feel free to share your thoughts.

Welcome from SW Michigan, and remember you don’t have to be reliable to be part of the family. I mean sometimes I’m only part-time and go without great participation… but still seem to be welcome. ;)

Yep, I like that stretch between Finland and Crosby Manitou SP
A friend of mine solo hiked the Kekekabic trail. The trail goes from the Gunflint Trail to over by Ely, MN somewhere. Prior to his hike, he hid 5-gallon pails of supplies in the woods at locations where backroads crossed the Kek trail. When my friend hiked the Kek, he got lost a few times because the USFS stopped maintaining the trail years before he hiked it. There were no signs and many trees had fallen across the trail. It made following the trail very interesting.
