Looking like a grey day is in store for the Delaware Valley...with a current temperature of 46 degrees.
Well, the Sergeant Major just gave me the bad news... they cancelled the flight for Ramstein AB Germany that we booked via the Air Mobility Command (AMC-Space A) at JB McGuire / Dix / Lakehurst NJ for Monday the 11th...
Then... she turned around and gave me the good news...this Friday the 8th we are booked from McGuire on a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy to Travis AFB in California ( refuel lay over...couple hours )...manifested with that cargo to JB Pearl Harbor / Hickam in Hawaii for 6 days...!!!
Well we finally made it home from our cruise to remember. Even after everything that went wrong with the ship and not making any of our ports of call, we still had a great time on the ship.
Here is a list of things that happened on the Norwegian Epic:
1. Semi truck ran into the gang walk before we left and screwed up some of the computers
2. We lost a engine on the second day and could only go half speed.
3. Didn't make any of our ports of call due to the engine situation
4. Had a fire on deck 4 from the incinerator. It was taken care of immediately and only a few people had to move to other rooms.
5. A fight broke out with a couple of the crew members.
With everything that happened, we still had a great time. Norwegian did everything they could to help us all out and make our stay on the ship fun and entertaining. We received an extra day on the cruise, they gave us all a free cruise to be taken in the next 24 months and all free drinks. And they are taking care of all of our airline fees for having to change our flights home.
