Not so bad, you would only have 5 gallons on you back each time. It would be a little icy in the winter but you learn to cope.
Actually, the biggest problem is when you dip the 5-gallon bucket, it generally has about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of gold on the bottom.
OK......this is 100% true and easy to prove. That foot bridge (in the photo) is for access to the "ACTIVE" and profitable gold operations.
