My background is Mechanical Engineering.
After graduating collage I traveled the world for work.
I would be gone for long periods of time and saved all my money.
I put my savings into rental properties and now I live off that so I could retire at the age of 34.
Been Homesteading for 2 Years.

howdy from a texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quiet a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic.and start new topics if/when needed....

Big thanks you all.
Been doing the homesteading thing for 2 years now and need to start sharing some of our lessons learned.
Also starting in May we will start filming some simulated emergencies that I think a lot of you will get a kick out of.

You got to have a sharp knife in your pocket....

Welcome. I look forward to seeing what lessons you learned, etc. I know we certainly learned a lot in our first couple of years living on the ranch, and constantly learn more. This year, I'm sure most of our lessons will be related to our new garden we're doing. I'm sure we'll have some success, and some failures.
