It should be good. Many (if not most) of the extras are readers of the Black Autumn novel. Last year they put out a casting call in their "Readyman" FB group for anyone who wanted to participate. (No pay, just for fun.) We thought about driving up (SLC is about a 7 hr drive) but flaked out.

Everyone should pay attention to who's going and how many in your local area, then compare here. Be interesting to see the numbers compared to say "Civil War."

I just got a membership to Angel. It came with two free tickets to the theatre opening on the 20th, but not sure if I can get there, doubtful husband can go. But it will be on Angel streaming shortly afterwards. Great content on Angel if anyone is interested in Christian programming. Loved the Chosen series, have watched it twice.
Another one on MGM plus thru Amazon Prime is a series based on the book, "Earth Abides". There are two of them out and I like them so far. Next comes out on Sunday.

Sadly, they gave away the ending in the trailer.
Actually they are mostly following the book, so us 'fans' already know the ending.

It's a good book, Black Autumn. There's a 6 or 8 book series, I've read bits of the others, but BA is the best.

Also, the Homestead is actually filmed at Jason Ross's house in the hills outside of Salt Lake City.

But "NOT" near as huge as the lies that 97.8% of preppers tell themselves daily and twice on Sunday.
Hey, don't diss our pre-conceived notions, scenario planning, and normalcy bias. ;) :D

If you end up subscribing to Angel, I just watched, "The Blind" (Duck Dynasty family story) and it was excellent. Also on Angel.

Have heard a little about this.. Enough to peak my interest enough it may be a fun outing.. I have not been in a theater for 10+ years so if the weather is not too harsh when it is available, it may be fun to get out and make an evenings entertainment out of it.. With that in mind, I won't watch any of the advertisements..
