Years ago when I drove for Mayflower Van Lines, I would often have a couple guys in the truck with me (sleeper cab) on the way to load or unload.

A few times I was fortunate to roll up on a wrecker hauling a bobtail backwards. The guys were often snoozing, so me being the crazy I am, would tap on the brake hard enough to be able to feel it and lay on the air horn.

Those guys would be steppin' and fetchin' when they woke up abruptly and saw another truck coming head on.

🤣😂🤣

Not touching that :p

My wife and I were talking in some far off future about our next dog. We agreed on a pedigree Australian shepherd. Possibly a male kept intact for stud. I said oh oh can we name him gigolo.

If we get another dog (maybe, after we have been able to travel some) my vote will go for a mid-sized mutt. The dogs we have had that were purebreds have had more long term medical issues than the mutts. Also, larger dogs don't live as long in our experience (e.g., our Newfoundland). And small dogs get stepped on too often. Our friend had an aussie. She was a great dog. Good companion.
