Happens to me often. My outside security door has a lever as well as my main door. If my hands are full one of them will catch my suspenders, always!!!

Now this is a door you won't get hung on... or at least you hope you don't!!!

I changed all the door handles to lever handles because my wife has trouble opening regular door knobs with her arthritic hands.
I have caught my belt loops, my suspenders, and my jacket pocket more times that I can remember.
It's a real pain when your hands are full.
My wife catches her purse occasionally.
We had a cat that figured out how to open the bedroom door. We had to keep the door locked at night so he wouldn't come in and sit on top of me.

My security door had a lever already. I changed my main door to a lever because it's easier when my hands are full. Still better than a knob but a pain when I get hung.
