Reminds me when I had my dogs in training. Trainer said throw bumpers not sticks.
One owner must not have listened. Duck plopped in the water, dog jumped in, swam like a mad dog, found a stick along the way, and proudly retrieved it.
So much for his entry fee and the retraining it took not to do sticks.

Tidy Mouse
