Working on another pair of socks 🧦. I’m not good enough to put both socks on one set of needles, but I have two sets of needles and do a toe on each then the foot of each, then the heel of each on up so when I’m finished, I have a pair. I heard too many times gals making a sock then complaining about having to make another before they could be worn.

I used to do that when I would be regularly knitting socks. I do have a pair on the needles now but didn't feel like rewinding the skein so I would have both ends to work with.

Consider yourselves experts, those of you who have created items like baby afghans, socks, hats, scarves. Would you please recommend to those of us who are not experienced in any of the needle crafting like crochet and knitting, what would be a good first project? I did learn how to knit once but would rather crochet.
Have you ever done the crocheted pot holders? A friend made a pair for me and they work fantastic, made out of cotton.

This is my most recent very large afghan I made. It's for a twin sized bed and hangs down about 8 inches or so on each side.
