My insurance allows me to buy 90days of meds every 80 days. You have to pay attention as the pharmacy has no interest in building your stash.
Actually your pharmacy (especially if it's a chain) has a lot of interest in your copay. The one I work at fills 3 weeks early on a 90 day supply, if your insurance allows for it. Some insurances (mostly the subsidized ones) will hold it to only two or three days early. CII's and other controlled substances are to the very day.My insurance allows me to buy 90days of meds every 80 days. You have to pay attention as the pharmacy has no interest in building your stash.
All of my meds are on 90-day 'auto-refill'...Actually your pharmacy (especially if it's a chain) has a lot of interest in your copay. If the pharmacy has an auto fill program, your script will fill the very first day that the insurance allows. That information should be in the documentation you received from the insurance provider. You might have to call for clarification and if you do, have them explain lost medication and vacation overrides to you--you never know when you might need that.
Are you calling the day before they are actually due? Hmmmmm. All of my meds are on 90-day 'auto-refill'...
Which means, whenever they are due, they automatically refill them...... when I call.
No. A week after. Are you calling the day before they are actually due? Hmmmmm.
It’s possible your insurance company doesn’t permit scheduling. United Healthcare doesn’t let us schedule, even the common maintenance meds. Our pharmacy also pushes 90 day supply. Some insurance providers won’t pay for 90 day unless you use their mail order house.No. A week after.
So, how much does a 3-month supply of your meds cost you?I have been 100% happy with "CENTERWELL Pharmacy". I have never had to do anything. It just shows up in the mailbox.......it is like magic.
That's good to know. I was blaming the pharmacy for being lazy, we have United Healthcare. It’s possible your insurance company doesn’t permit scheduling. Lazy folks don't last long in our pharmacy. The pressure of the job usually sends them looking for something less stressful or they don't get scheduled for many hours. We have an hours budget and frankly I give hours to people who are willing to work and show that by their actions. So, how much does a 3-month supply of your meds cost you?
A 90-day supply of my 5 meds costs $60.

I was in her hometown around the time she said that I looked.Yep. Remember Sarah Palin said she can see them from Alaska
