This has always been a fun thread!! So, I found this shoved way in the back of a cabinet in the utility room!! Not sure if I'm keeping it or not! Anyone ever use one??

This is an odd piece in a house I clean! The couple got it an auction, they have no idea what it is! They have a plant on top of it. Anyone ever see anything like this before??

It’s a Victorian plant stand. Beautiful. I don’t know famous names of furniture makers from the time period. It might be worth sending a pix to a qualified appraiser.

One other thought considering the large base is that it could have been a lamp stand. They were often tri-legged as that’s the least apt to rock. Just a thought. (Don’t want fire to tip.)

It looks like the base to an ashtray stand. A bit more ornamental than most.
