Looking at the news today the "protesters" were all stealing; tv's, cell phones, tennis shoes and booze. I believe the cops were wrong and should be punished, but this demographic will use any excuse to act like jungle animals and burn and loot.

Yeah I saw that video too. Bottom line he is just a bad cop. Like everything else there are good ones and bad ones. Sometimes hard to tell the difference. Kick him off the force and prosecute him for murder and the ones standing around watching for accessory to the fact. Give the family and community their justice and then ask the hard questions. The cop who did the kneeling had been involved in quite a few previous violent altercations (apparently justified) but also had bunch of complaints and reprimands. The other incidents may have been out of his control, but may have affected him. However, it seems he was truly a bad person that somehow was still employed as a cop.

This incident defies all logic. CNN reporter covering riot in Minneapolis, who is clearly being cooperative with State Police, is arrested for no apparent reason.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said that he takes “fully responsibility” for the arrest of Omar Jimenez and a CNN crew as they covered protests in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd.

“I take full responsibility there is absolutely no reason something like this should happen calls were made immediately,” Walz said at a press conference. “This is a very public apology to that team.”

While I think that these cops should be hung up for murdering this guy, its interesting to note that only 1/3 of the people killed by cops are black. That means that 2/3 are White or other. But its only the blacks that riot and burn their neighborhoods whenever something happens to one of their own kind.

It's not only black people involved in those riots either. I think people who want to cause trouble are just using it as an excuse. The family of Mr. Floyd had been telling people not to riot but to express their grievances peacefully. Same with the family of Breonna Taylor, the EMT murdered by police in KY in her own home. Yet there are riots there too. It's just an excuse. The people who actually care about justice being done are demonstrating peacefully or using the court system to hold the perpetrators accountable.
