thought this might be of interest to some - has some interesting aspects that supersedes just the pumping application >>> multi-power source is interesting


My portable water pump and filter build.


"This system will allow someone to use any brand of power tool battery (Dewalt, Makita, Rigid, Kobalt, Craftsman, etc...) as long as you have an adapter to attach to the battery. The system can also be powered by any low voltage power source between 12 and 40 volts."

What a cool project. I love detailed posts like that about home made systems, even if you don't want the water pump you can get good ideas from the basic setup. Personally I wouldn't have installed a high pressure water pump in a water-proof box beside all those electronics, at least without drilling a few holes in the bottom of the box lol.
