I want one of those old JD's. That looks like a B, but may be an A. An A would be my preference.

The ones like that with the smokestack right in front of you aren't fun. Been there. Done that. If you rerouted the exhaust, it'd be a dandy. We have a 1948 ford 8N - love it.
I had an A. Got it with a broken rocker arm for $100.
Long logging chain and wind that flywheel up; pulled up a bunch of 6" white-locust trees roots and all with it.
When the slack ran outa that chain, you better have a grip on that wheel
.They had a $5 bounty on them courtesy of my mom.

We had a B when I was growing up. I loved mowing hay with it. Plowed a lot of gardens as well.

My dad had Allis-Chalmers then Fords, uncle next door ran Farmalls, drove those their tractors the most. When I was a little older my other gramps ran JD 4020's. I missed out on all the JD A&B's.

They gather every winter to feed on the waterfowl. They had some dieing because of the lead shot in some of the ducks and geese. One of the reasons steel shot was mandated for hunting.

My grtnephew has two tractors up here now. a JD 4020 with electrical issues and a much older Ford 5000.

What for? I watched a bunch of scooters drive to school this morning in 2" deep snow and a few motorcycles. When the roads get packed with ice then they will put them away for winter.
