Well, Phideaux, then you have not met our little granddaughter. She is almost 9 and you'd think she'd know better. She changes at least 3 times a day. A mudball. I talked to older granddaughter a little while ago to see how things were going, and to make sure they weren't giving Mattie the Amish babysitter a bad time. Only one tantrum from little granddaughter, but she was out playing in the rain (and mud, I'm sure) with the neighbor boy, and our dogs.

We made mud pies when we were kids, we munched on them , and my girls did too.

Not my grands though.

This is Josh. I don't know Josh, but saw a post of a happy Josh after he found a snake. Josh didn't know what kind of snake he’d found, but decided to pick it up anyways. An hour later, Josh posts a picture of himself in the Emergency Room because the snake he picked up was a venomous copperhead snake.

Don't be a Josh! If you can't say 100% that you know *exactly* what you're picking up, DON’T pick it up!

I grew up in Atlanta and Stone Mountain, snakes are everywhere in those woods.
We were taught nevr touch one,not pets.Mama got bit on leg almost lost her leg,it was in the car when she pushed in clurch it got her.I can't stand the idea of " pet " shops selling damn reptiles.

Picture of Mr. Meer and one of the squirrels my cat brought me we saved,lots of baby rabbits too.This is Girlie number 3 taken to wildlife reserve.

She would run around in front of us at beach ,if someone came up she would run up my body and hide in my hair or hubbies pocket,she was funny.
