Smoke from the wild fires makes for some beautiful sunsets (taken 9/8/2020 about a mile from my house)
A big shipment of gourds came in at the produce stand. Fall is getting close. The proprietor said another shipment was due in a couple of weeks.

My view is not quite as spectacular in Indiana!
Just wait a few months... With America being torn in half you might get a view like that!
I think what would top off this year is if, right after Trump wins the election the Cascadia subduction zone let loose with a 9.5 quake and triggered a magnitude 8 quake on the San Andreas fault.
With the blue half of three states gone I'm betting we would have a much better next four years.

Air quality is terrible and not expected to improve until Monday when the rain is due.

The big, coastal, cities could slide into the Pacific before the election and there wouldn't be but a handful of democrat voters left. Before the election works for me.
