Little granddaughter now thinks you are the bees knees, Dademoss. We have 5 terribly spoiled barncats...Jayrod, Nardwhar (?), Bowie, Todd, and Fluffy. They all were combed today and look fabulous. They are also exploring the "cat hotel" constructed in the garage out of cardboard boxes, and lined with scraps of velvet material and a beloved hoodie jacket. Last week a few of them were even bathed in an ice chest filled with warm water and bubbles. Then toweled off and combed down. Didn't think that could be done. Jayrod looks much better.

Today consider... Calling an old friend you haven't talked to. Making up with someone you've argued with. Opening your mind to an opinion you've disagreed with. Step out of your comfort zone...

Great advice!

Exactly what I did last night. I called an old 20 year long neighbor who I haven't spoken to for about a year. he admitted freaking out when he saw my number pop up and thought I was calling with bad news. He and his wife and kids are fine, and it was a great conversation. To keep up with the theme of this thread, he is my fly fishing buddy who lives up in Grass Valley, Ca, and knows some great fishing holes.

Who would have ever thought so much travel was required to get a bag of cashews into my kitchen? Africa. South America. Southeast Asia. Asia-Pacific/Oceania. Finally delivered to North America. They could sure stand to streamline the supply chain a little bit.

My cousin had a murder mystery party for Halloween. So glad she's able to celebrate now that her deadbeat cheating ex-husband is out of the picture (he wouldn't let them do any Halloween stuff and would go out on the lawn and scream at trick-or-treaters that they were going to hell).
This was the food:
