I love that photo!
As much as I hate ticks, I can tell by the head, that is a venomous snake, which I hate even worse.
I could say dying like that must truly suck... but that would be a tick joke.

'Poisonous' means that if you eat it, you will die.

I guess because I worked at a zoo in the reptile department I like snakes more than some people do. Even the venomous ones. If they are in my yard threatening my animals they are toast, but I do feel sorry for the poor snake covered in ticks. I prefer swift painless deaths for the critters. Ticks all over the head and face just seems awful.

Thank you for differentiating venomous and poisonous. It is one of my pet peeves. LOL.

I'm housesitting and a cat climbed an arbor and ate all the baby birds in a nest. Now I'm at war with that cat. I chased him away this morning, but the birds have not returned since the cat raided the nest.
