A Whatzit? No one figured it out yet, so thought I would post here and see what thoughts are.

Mine: too low a temp for candy or syrup. Too small for small batch alcohol. I really do not see a 'flame adjustment' to play with the temperature. But is is sure that temperature is very important to its use!

Temp goes to 190 so yeah, alcohol or seperating would be a possibility as that is 173 degrees/

Thoughts?

Except for the thermometer thing, it looks like a Russian field kettle.

I saw Daris on another forum posting those pics of the hail damaged vehicle.

Neither one of the cars were parked under the tree that fell and it wasn't a storm. It was an old tree that got hollow inside. I'd had it checked out by an arborist just a few months before and he said it was fine. Then Jan 1, 2016 it keeled over.

My sister's cat, Maui, peeking over the countertop in her new house (she's lived there a few years now).

Sister's late cat, Violet, lounging by the fireplace. I think she was 16 or 17.
