I dried some (well a lot really) and have a bunch infusing in oil to make salve.I've canned alot of peppers last year, still have some left. I might dehydrate and powder them. I made habanero powder last year. Those on the plants are not orange yet, though.
Great silo pic!
I just use olive oil - pretty universal. For skin products B grade is actually better than EVOO which makes it cheaper also. That's a good idea about the salve, Lady L. What kind oil? What are you doing with the salve?
Here's Skip with some of his friends.

And Skip has a closed eye???Some good looking stock! Your grass is gone already?
Our grass is dry and brittle already. We have good grass in some meadows over the hills, but the cattle are too fat and lazy to walk over to get it. They grass has dried out about a month earlier than usual, so I'll need to start feeding them a supplement, like Vitalicks. Some good looking stock! Your grass is gone already?
No, Skip has good eyes. He was probably just blinking Flys out of his eye.And Skip has a closed eye???
I remember that pic. It was taken right before his AR slipped and shot him in the head. The pig's final revenge.I stole this photo from somewhere and have posted it before.
