It's raw right now.

I left home at 17, went out in the world and didn't look back. But it wasn't until I moved back to the family farm did I realize how much I missed being out in fields and woods like your pics. These days I spend as much time as I can in the wilds. Get away from the noise of the world a few hrs... peace. I always liked the wilds in early fall, nature seams to be drawing a last deep breath before sleep.

Spent a few days in naples, 80's, navy, winter. The docks were next to the worst part of town. It was commonly referred to as the 'arm pit of the world'. Even saw a mob guy come in a cafe, had a uniformed police escort, intimidation tactics. Yep, a classy part of town. I'm sure there was a good part somewhere, just never got to see it. 🤣 Never got to go see Vesuvius either. I did get to see the naval air station, whoopie! At night too!

What's happening in Naples? The wife and I spent a week there several years ago.
I heard Naples is pretty chill now. Went to dinner and saw 100 cop cars surrounding an entire suburb. Appears a pro Palestinian protest was brewing there. We are headed to the Coluseum today. We were warned THIS is the worst place. We have cut proof RFID fanny packs and our heads are on a swivel. Had one altercation with a bum Inside the Vatican yesterday. I almost had to get physical keeping him away, but he got the hint quickly. We went to an old family Italian restaurant last night. Man, these people can eat and drink. They gave me a bottle of wine to take back to the room.
