This reminds me that when we first moved to town there was a furniture store near a barber shop and the owner had a setup like this inside to cook when he had gatherings at the store. The fire station was directly behind the store.

That is one of those "Ladybugs From Hell." An Asian Lady Beetle.
You do not want them in your house, believe me. They stain the walls, stink up the place, and they BITE.

I couldn't zoom in enough on the pic with the yellow squash-like things but they look suspiciously like my lemon cucumber plants do now. I gave up on harvesting them so the plants are died off and there's a bunch of yellow round cucumbers that I've been feeding to the chickens. They get like this when they are overripe.

I will sleep with a wool sweater or with my hairdryer LOL
