Not super clear but a salmon attempting to jump a waterfall. This is the highest point on the river the spawning salmon getto. None can get past this set of falls. They spawn downstream, the young swim 1500 + km to the ocean and return to spawn and die.lots of bear food, but the shores smells of rotting fish for a while.

Just after I shot this pic, a bald eagle came by and snatched salmon out of the river. I couldn’t get a clear pic of it happening as it was totally unexpected

This actually a 15 year old girl I know , that adopted this mustang in early spring, worked it, and showed it this summer. She is so proud.

The horses name is Poppy.
