Yesterday my cousin that came to help with some tree cleanup was a logger most of his life. He only freehand sharpens saws and he’s the best I’ve ever seen. He was kind enough to sharpen my stihl while he was here. (His farm saw is a big 372xp husqvarna, it’s a hoss!)

His 1-ton flatbed has little 2x4 side rails to keep tools and gear from sliding off. He has a neat set up for sharpening saws. On this side is an extra 2x4 with a notch cut for holding the bar. On the other side rail is a piece of 2x6 with a notch for sharpening the other teeth.

Aww. Reminds me of the one at the Singapore Zoo that I used to hold for the Reptile Show.
Saw a new type of shelf bracket (new to me) at HD yesterday.

Insulated around the back door. Will probably need to fill a little more if I can get any out of the 2nd can (used up entire 1st can quickly). Will trim it up afterward. I got the largest backer rod they had in stock but I had to pin it to small backer rod with toothpicks to fill some of the gaps more. Slid it behind some of the 2x4s that didn't touch the outside wall panels on the right side. Those blocks were used as shims. I could feel that the cold air coming in was reduced.
