I would be interested to see what a prepper convention even looks like.

I bet there is an aluminum foil hat making workshop.

Plus maybe Bear Grylls teaches people how to make cocktails out of his bodily fluids.

He didn't come to the one in Cincinnati a couple years back, but it might be a different "company" putting it on. Overpriced seeds, overpriced food, and stuff you don't need but looks cool. Kinda like the "gun show" shat comes to town now and then.

I got in free, the local Ham radio club had an information table I helped with.

I'm local to this. Went to one a few years back. Meh...mostly foil hat types and conspiracy theorists. Did find a few that were into rational preps, but we all agreed that we would spend our calories elsewhere next time. Utah does host some amazing emergency prep events and food storage workshops.
