Letter to My Boss:
I have enjoyed working here these past several years. You have paid me very well and given me benefits beyond belief. Have 3-4 months off per year and a pension plan that will pay my salary till the day I die and then pay my estate one year salary death bonus and then continue to pay my spouse my salary with increases until he (or she) dies and a health plan that most people can only dream of having i.e. no deductible whatsoever.

Despite this, I plan to take the next 12-18 months to find a new position. During this time I will show up for work when it is convenient for me. In addition, I fully expect to draw my full salary and all the other perks associated with my current job.
Oh yes, if my search for this new job proves fruitless, I will be coming back with no loss in pay or status. Before you say anything, remember that you have no choice in this matter. I can, and I will do this.

Sincerely,
Every Senator or Congressman running for re-election

Are we stupid or what?

Term Limits for both Senators and House Representatives should be the law of the land...

But, though argued, it was never set forth in the final draft of the Constitution when the states ratified the document in Philadelphia 1787–88.

Federal Term Limits:

President: Limited to being elected to a total of 2 four-year terms. A President by succession who completes more than two years of a former President's unfinished term may be elected in his or her own right only once, and 2 more four-year terms are permitted if they complete two years or less. Becoming a President by succession may happen to someone an unlimited number of times, for example, if he or she is Vice President and the President dies, resigns or is removed from office via impeachment conviction.

Vice President: Unlimited 4 year terms

House of Representatives: Unlimited 2 year terms

Senate: Unlimited 6 year terms

Supreme Court: No term limits, appointed to serve "during good behavior"... but can be impeached and removed from office for "High Crimes and Misdemeanors"... in practice a Justice serves until death or by stepping down (by retirement or resignation).

Had a most unusual prank played on me Wednesday.
Stopped to gas the company van.
Simple. Just like always.
Carded the pump and punched in all the numbers.
Simple. Just like always.
Lifted the nozzle and pressed the 87 octane button.
Simple. Just like always.
I opened the little door to take off my gas cap and realized when the nozzle started spraying gas on the side of the van that some jackass had latched the lever on the nozzle wide open.
It was latched full on and I couldn't get it to unlatch without fighting with it while it was pouring gas everywhere. (fortunately not on me)

Just a random thought:
Check that little latch on the nozzle handle before punching the '87' button on the pump.

I'm hoping in my heart of hearts that someone prepaid for $10 worth of gas, latched it on, and just hung it up after the pump stopped at 10.
Just don't be the next guy that turns the pump on:eek:.

^^^ and that would be me!
+1 Been there, did everything. Learned a lot.
If the sweaty fat-chick wants to bang, plow that baby good!:D
