You might be right RSA could be out of cash. With US interest rates likely to go up - no one will be lending to struggling poorly managed developing countries.
Debt will be very high interest rate that the country can't afford as mining resource is completely stuffed even 50% of RSA gold mines working at a loss -- labour unrest will be a very big issue. South Africa now imports a lot of food - so no cash reserves to import failure can happen quickly.
