This thread made me want salmon. So that's exactly what I fixed for dinner tonight! Grilled, with a Teriyaki sauce on top. Jasmine rice and broccoli as sides.

You don't pronounce it. It's one of those mysterious silent letters that we come across so often in the English written language. Like the way "know" is pronounced "no", the k is silent, well, the l in salmon is silent too.
