She finally finished it!

And, I am so proud. It really is beautiful. It was a lot of work, too. Each 8-inch block is composed of 18 pieces. When she posted the photos on Facebook, some of the guys were more interested in our beaver-chewed lamp and snowshoe chair. LOL! Welcome to our bedroom.

I literally cannot imagine how much work that took. I couldn't even pull together the creativity necessary to pick out and buy a bedspread.

Also, that bed seems way too small for your big foot sized being and your little lady. I hope that's a spare bedroom.

She brought her quilt to a gal who had a longarm quilting machine to do the final quilting. Below is some of the quilting detail.
