I have taken a picture just for you. I will attempt to relocate the pic from my phone to my laptop.
I found myself sitting next to one shoe anvil today so I took pictures to add to the collection.

Alright. Let's see what I can do here. It seems mostly kids and women's shoes. But still have some nice and seemingly valuable pieces.

That is quite the collection!

If my granddaughter was with me checking out that collection she would be going...

Come on Grampa!

Ben

Ha! Found them. I knew my grandfather had these somewhere. I found them tucked away in the canning room. The metal has copper in it because they don't rust and there are the tell/tell green spots. Maybe brass plated. I don't even know their proper name.

I want to go shopping in this store!!!!!!! I see a dough bowl, a crock bowl, irons, jacks, and is that a giant butter press or grinding wheel. You just got yourself in trouble. I want to see it all 😍
So I have a couple shoe anvils. I think a last is the thing roughly the shape of a foot that goes in it to form the shoe. These are for soles. I might be drooling. 🥴

But wait! There's more! I should take better and more detailed pictures for you guys.

Do you see those kettles/cauldrons!!!! Do you use them. I use mine & love them and maybe I even talk nice to them. That is a grinding wheel isn't it. What is the large piece leaning up against the shelf?

I haven't used them yet. The kitchen cast iron has made it's way into the house. I've had several relatives show up wanting them (The pots, kettles, cauldrons, etc.) I told them to pound sand. There didn't ask nicely. My sisters didn't want any of them, so....... I came out like a bandit.

Thank you!

If you let people guess what they are it will be more fun.

Ben

Lol. I actually need the help in identifying some of these things. I am going to apologize in advance for the layered dust on some of these things.

Don't give that a second thought.

The philosopher Phyllis Diller once said...

I don't mind people writing things in the dust on my furniture as long as they don't date it.

Thank you! I use that all the time but didn't know who said it originally.

Yep, you can tell them it's all claimed. I have dibs - not sure why or how, but pretty sure I do ;) I use half the things you showed there - that I could tell anyways. Will look forward to seeing more pix. Your crock-like bowl is most likely from the 20's-30's. They are wonderful for mixing due to their shape. The rim helps to hang onto them.

Yes, that is a grinding wheel. One day I want to build the necessary to put it back in service. The item leaning against the bottom shelf is the wooden post/part of a large school bell.

I'm sorry guys. I got caught up helping a damsel in distress.

You have smithing tools! Pix 1 post leg vice. Pix 4 on left smith's wrench (many of these have been destroyed by people who don't realize what they are!) See those nice square corners?
That worked. Here's some more.
Bath tub, flax trough or sugaring trough??? Will be curious what others say. Also - that dough bowl!!!!! Do you make bread?
Forgot this one!
I see the drill. Is that a blower also? (for forging)
Are there certain things that you don't know what they are? This just might be my favorite game ever! Oh yea, you have a nice bean pot. Autumn is upon us, wash 'er up and get the beans soaking.

I concur with those IDs.

Could through be for quenching?

Other things ...
Head of a fro on the wall near the two man saw
Drill for drill a well
Meat grinder
Bottle capper
Post hole digger
Adapter to get outlets from an over head light
A knob from knob and tube wiring

In front of the John Deer sign...
Irons
But is that a gas fired iron?

Are there items you cant ID?

Post detailed pictures and let us guess.

Thanks for the pictures!

Ben

Yes, Dad had a thing for vintage tools. We have, of course, the modern versions of most things, but I intend to put these back into service. And you are correct, that is a bath tub. I do not make dough but it may come to that one day. I need to clean it up and bring it in the house also. The blower is the 2nd one. I have on in the shop also. Some of these things we have had all my life and others my parents bought when they traveled after they retired.
