Mostly in the low to mid-40's (ABOVE) for the next (10) TEN days. No snow, green & brown grass. Thank God for this global warming. You do love it....AGREE.
I live in a camper, and my electric bill is $80$ a month. It will drop to $60$ in the spring, less if Trump gets things fixed. They just took away your cold and moved it to the Great Lakes area.
Our temps are highs in the teens, lows down to 10-15 below zero.
I will do my part for warming the globe by running both woodstoves 24/7. Screw my electric heat. The house next door that only has electric heat just got a $1000 electric bill, and that's before these below zero temps.
And is it 10° there?I live in a camper, and my electric bill is $80$ a month. It will drop to $60$ in the spring, less if Trump gets things fixed.
Micro-styling and smiling all the way home yo!
It will be in eight hours. And is it 10° there?
And how are you heating? Are you using electric heaters or propane? Just keep warm.It will be in eight hours.
Geesh, 30 would feel like swimsuit weather about now.Just hit 30° here, wood stove is our only heat, so it's going 24 hours right now! I am ready for some global warming!!
What is an Oupes Mega 1?The Oupes Mega 1 ran the small office heater just fine. We've been messing with both the Megas to see how well they run everything.
Solar generator. Mega 2 is better capacity. And we have the add on battery to it. You can use the solar panels when they run down or you can just plug them in if you have electricity, or use a car adapter, but that would take forever. What is an Oupes Mega 1?
I'm ready for some 110°!!Geesh, 30 would feel like swimsuit weather about now.
Sometimes I forget that I have internet now. So after I asked the question I looked them up. They look very nice and sound like they would make good backup if any part of your solar system goes down, and it will over time. The price seems reasonable too, but of course it adds up when you add the solar panels and extra batteries. I think I'll research them a little more and see if it would make sense to incorporate them in my system. During this time of year my backup generator is averaging 6 hours per day run time, in summer it averages less than an hour a day.Solar generator. Mega 2 is better capacity. And we have the add on battery to it. You can use the solar panels when they run down or you can just plug them in if you have electricity, or use a car adapter, but that would take forever.
For reviews on youtube....Alaska Prepper, Pinball Preparedness have done them. Husband's done alot of research on them, all brands, and is pleased with the Oupes capability and price. These are just back up to back ups, tho. We have a propane whole house generator, and 3 gas generators, and solar panels on the roof of the garage for three lithium batteries that we use with inverters for whatever. The Oupes solar panels are fold out, and I can lift them easily. I would use 2 of the panels to charge the Mega 2, and it would take 4 to 5 hrs in full sun if it were down to zero percent. So we are just messing with them right now, seeing what they run well and for how long. I think we're hooking up to the big fridge in the kitchen next, but not today, husband is napping.
Oh come on now, you're just bragging.Raining pretty good now, 46f ABOVE. Gently breeze.
This is typical "END" of April & early May weather.
The odds are we will have cold weather at some point this winter.Oh come on now, you're just bragging.
I'm actually always hot! But I love the hot weather , that's why I moved south!! And I see no reason to have the inside of the house the same as the outside temp. Right now with the wood stove burning it's 75° in the den where the stove is. It's 66° back in the bedrooms! My last electric bill for this 2000 sq ft house was $62, the next one will be right around that! As long as we can cut, split, and handle firewood we will, and we will have the house comfortable!!Nope. Now you sound like our two Tucson daughters. The one I was zooming with today had on a long sleeved shirt and it was 70 degrees.
I know when our girls or my Floriday sis come to visit, I always put heaters to use in their guest rooms. They are always cold. And I have a closet with extra jackets and sweatshirts and a dresser with heavy socks, gloves, and stocking caps. Because they're always cold.
