The best football is high school. When you're in the band. We used to have a hoot at the games. No, not watching them. Just doing all the things that band nerds do in the stands, and then going out for pizza afterwards. Those were the days.

I went to an NFL game once. A friend invited me. That was the most boring thing I've ever attended. The teams just stand around, doing nothing 95% of the time. It's like the whole point of the game is not to actually play the game.

Watching NFL football on TV is incredibly boring. But it is a still better than being dragged through the experience live, in person. At least on TV you get commercials for deodorant and laundry detergent and stuff - much more mentally stimulating than the game itself.

Next single from Taylor Swift:

Minute and a half left, at least KC made another touchdown!!!
Yeah, 3 minutes left, and they finally start playing football.
The big bummer for me: no awesome memorable commercials.
That was the only reason I watched it.
I think I screwed up by watching it on our local Fox station. :(
Lots of ads for our local personal-injury lawyers, and furniture stores.
...Shoulda known they were covering up the national commercials.

I was just checking headlines over at Daily Mail, and they said that fans are saying it was the worst halftime show ever.
There were pictures and names of the performers, and I'm happy to say I didn't recognize a single one. I'm totally clueless.
Yea, me!!!!!!!
I wonder how it is decided who performs for the half time show? Is this considered the most popular music in America? I don't think it is, but why are they having THAT?

Trivia:
Guess where Philly's star quarterback Jalen Hurts came from?
Just for @Peanut:

Philly had 3 offensive starters from Alabama. Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith (wr) and Landon Dickerson (guard). Smith caught a long TD pass. Also a second string guard Tyler Steen who played and Eli Ricks, a cb out for the season with injury. A total of 5 alabama players who have now won another championship.

It was a tough night if you were a Kansas City fan. Their evil twins showed up. Nobody expected a blow out like that. Philadelphia looked great, and looked like they were far better prepared. I really didn't care who won, but I was happy for Jalen Hurts. He has fought through a lot of diversity and exorcized a lot of demons yesterday.

Unexpected but welcome.
PA now has 8 super bowl wins!

The game was so lopsided the highlights reel was boring.

A Superbowl I'd love to see is taking a team like the 1975 Steelers and putting them up against the current Chiefs. The rule change has to be... there's no such thing as a penalty. The brutality of the game in the 70's vs. the size and speed of the current teams.
E.g. The offensive line players nowadays are something like 80 pounds bigger than they were in the 70's but back in the 70's, they would have a fist fight at the bottom of the pile.
