The cranberry relish is made.

Fought the turkey for the giblets and neck. Didn’t thaw as much as I thought it would in 4 days. They weren’t as large as I expected for a 14 pounder. Cooked that and allowing to cool, will then prepare it for the dressing. In the meantime, will be ripping slightly stale bread; then chop onions, celery, mushrooms, fresh sage and thyme, sauté in butter.
Mix it all together with liquid from cooking the giblets. Form into balls and place in fridge waiting to be baked tomorrow after I bake the turkey. 🦃

Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving, folks!

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT THANKSGIVING!!!

My sister-in-law invited me to her sister's house for dinner. She's a great cook but I already made a commitment to go to a restaurant with a buddy for an all-you-can eat buffet. It will be GREAT turkey, ham, stuffings and all the other Thanksgiving things. YUM!
