May want to check local pawn shops or if fb has a buying and selling page to see if your stuff pops up. Our location also has an online classified that people post things to sell so look into that too.
sorry some sh$t took your stuff and hoping you can track who took it.
yes, I agree use social media and get you story out there, also, be sure to include photos, a lot of these idiots take stuff to flea markets and sell it. Not just pawn the stuff. Or they put it on Craigslist from another town. I would consider how they knew the stuff was there and if I was going to keep stuff where I could not personally protect it then have some cameras. Of course hindsight makes you think of all kinds of things.

Son n laws dad came by with a big spool of wire 840 yards, he ended up staying helping his son and my daughter string a new fence, now we got enough wire for the weekend, son and his wife going to get the tractor and store it here. All ain't lost, the day even become better when he found the original rims on the loft. We must have changed tires and rims a couple years ago.
Oh good. My Dad owns my grandfathers tractor and I know how upset we'd be if someone cobbed off of it.

Game camera at the gates they have to use to get in would be great. No flash, hidden is key. You can catch them coming & going. Of course at this point they've probably taken all they wanted.

I agree, property theft is a big tick-me-off thing.

Who would know what was back there? I know of a fellow who baled people's hay. All too often after he worked a field, any 'valuables' from that field disappeared (equipment, deer feeders, etc). If it is visible from the road, well that's the problem.

The real problem is that crime does pay. There are zero to little consequences in the rare chance they actually are caught. And it's easier than getting a job. If only more thieves were executed in the act, many others would decide the theft career is too difficult. But until then...
Theives, take one finger off for every theft they commit. Keep getting caught then eventually they will only have a nub.

PCI regulations (which unlike HIPAA are voluntary industry regulations, not law) discourage letting cashiers handle credit cards themselves. That's why you have these machines now that you can swipe your card on at checkout without handing it to the cashier. As a result, it has become rare for cashiers to look at the back of the card anymore. I stopped signing mine a while back, and it's been years since anyone said anything about the missing signature.

I always thought it was incredibly stupid for someone to make you sign your card before they would take it. What exactly does that prove???
I agree signing it then is worthless. Come to think of it, none of my cards are signed and no one has asked in ages. Locally they had a rash of servers at restaurants that had been bribed to swipe your card and steal the info. I rarely give my card to anyone where they can walk away out of sight with it. Having the pads at the counter where you never give up possession of the card is the safest way to pay
