Just heard 3 counties on the Cumberland Plateau, an hour or so west of us are under tornado watch. Basically north of Huntsville, Al. We are expecting heavy rain, 3" or more by tomorrow afternoon
All the rain in the pic is headed your way! Tv said the rain will stop in the morning.
All this rain will drop temps which takes power away from any tornadoes. Hopefully the tornado watch will expire by midnight.
Yeah by the time I leave for work rain will mostly be over.

I can confirm the nosedive of temps since we test-drove #1 and #2 before shipping.

Cloudy this morning, but also warm... already 60 degrees! A sign that spring is just around the corner...

We're looking at about 12" of snow accumulation between early this morning through Thursday. Southern MN may get 2 feet or more.

We are supposed to be single digits for lows on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with the possibility of negative temps.
Several states are in the path of a massive storm this week. I have no idea how much snow is predicted for Colorado. I do have two dogs who are staying with me who will not be spending much time outdoors later this week.

80°!! Kinda cloudy and windy. Mid to upper 80's tomorrow. Friday might only be 50°, but it's back up after that!

80ºF is at the high end of my comfort range.

We hit 61, lite rain off and on.
Very mild here at 50f, but to get cold tonight. We have heard rumblings of an incredibly cold snap in March- snow etc. Ignoring them for now
Cloudy but relatively warm, supposed to rain today and I'm hoping it pours, the trees could use it. At least the low temps are above freezing for the rest of the week, no covering of fruit trees necessary... with luck, I won't have to do it again, but it's only late February. Good news is the fruit trees appear to be healthy, despite all the recent hard freezes... ugh.
One of my pine trees isn't looking so good, dunno if it's dead or dying or what... we had those high temps last summer, followed by cold temps this winter, and there might be a few of those pesky pine borer beetles involved. The needles are all brown, unlike the needles on the other trees. If it doesn't come back this spring, the tree will wind up as firewood...

Sunny skies no clouds and wind at around 25 knots, judging by the waves. This means cold. I went to walk the dog. She looked up at me and asked, "What the **** is that?" I said, "shut up, you're wearing a fur hat too."

86°, just got off the pool float!! Clouding up, t-storms after midnight probably lingering into the morning! Sunny and 75° tomorrow!

Another cheap Chinese BBQ cover bites the dust... goldurned high winds ripped it apart.
Hit 80 today and windy. Likely same tomorrow. Expecting 65 over night

It's been snowing all night. Storm warnings have been posted. We need all the snow we can get. I would like to see a couple feet out of this storm.
Cold front came through about 4am, only lower 60's today!! Yeah, I know what you northern folks are thinking

Another cold one this morning. We're suppose to get another 6 to 8" of snow on top of the 2.5 feet that has been accumulating since November. Enjoying my coffee and a roaring fire in the fireplace.
