Day temps around 55. Tonight is the last night with temps around 30. The peach crop was damaged the last two nights which is big money in my state. They had helicopters up fanning the trees each night.

If this is the last frost it's a little early. Wild plant growth seems about 10 days early this year so... it fits. I usually get my last frost the first week of Apr. Better than the last 2yrs. Spring was late, ground stayed cold until may so early garden plants didn't do well. Looks like it won't be a problem this year.

I have to admit... I do miss our peach trees, they were beautiful this time of year.

Windy days and at least one freezing night this week have forced me to put off planting... I don't think that first round of sprouted melon seeds made it either, no sign of 'em after that freezing night we had shortly after I put 'em in the ground. No worries, those were just test seedlings and I have 200 more of that variety, lol... no way I'm risking the dope seedlings in high winds and possibly freezing nights, guess this is the last gasp of winter. I'll be glad when Old Man Winter goes away for awhile... seen about enough of him for the past few months. 😒

We are warming up in Texas, so it's coming your way!! Today was a nice day, 76°, but windy! 84° tomorrow, can't wait!! I don't do cold anymore!!

My nights are 14F and days are 40-50F. The snow is melting very slowly during the day.

Good for the fruit trees to not break dormancy, but bad because the dogs have to be house dogs until the snow melts enough to uncover the fences. They aren't used to laying about and we are babysitting our son's dog so five big dogs all wanting out to chase stuff.

Getting warmer, about the same temps as Clem reported from the other side of the rockpile,
Slowly melting thank goodness.

Rain, lightning, thunder, high wind, it was a boisterous night.

Today promises to be another rainy day on the moors, a good day to hunt frozen Taco Turkey Rolls.

The skies opened up last night. Rained like a cow peeing on a flat rock. Thunder woke me up and shook the house. Quite the storm. Temps are in the 40's, and it is supposed to rain all day. I think I will go back to bed.

About to lose satellite internet.... Hang on, it's gonna get bumpy! Wind gusts to 60mph now. Funny, the pup wanted out, made it to the end of the porch then changed his mind!!!

Tornadoes in ms and al , More in the tn valley... I'm not in a bullseye currently. seems further north.

Picks from Rolling Fork Mississippi earlier tonight. Bad. Tornado on the ground, what we call dusky dark. It's worse after dark, can't see them coming.

This front has almost stopped moving... No current nado warnings, they were north. Still under a watch condition.
