We are having the first freeze of the year.
Right now, 11:07 PM Saturday the 30th, it is 33 degrees.
It is forecast to be 28 at sunrise.
This is Florida, remember, even though Georgia is less than three miles away.

I've got the well pump and aerator pump covered and automotive trouble lights with old fashioned incandescent bulbs inside.

Our 4 dogs are inside dogs anyway, so they are good. The wife blanketed her mare. The chickens will be just fine.

I thought of something else about the " climate change"

A lot of the earth is either Arctic tundra and permafrost, or desert . If the earth is indeed warming up, that would be a great thing actually. Warmer oceans would mean more water evaporating, meaning more rainfall, I read somewhere it rained in the Sahara desert for the first time in a long time , it would also mean some of the arctic might melt and you can live and grow food there. So who knows if it was even a bad thing at all.

Daylight hours are more important than temperature for growing food. The north is not going to become a new bread basket because the earth is supposedly warming up.

Green houses are shutting down because of the climate change progroms, not increasing in numbers. The only thing that matters is they are killing off the food supply for an agenda. You ain't seen nothing, yet.

We are having a snow year. 10-15" a day. Roads are not being plowed. We are running chains front and back on the school buses and an hour late. Something bad is due to happen because climate change believers can't get their heads out of their hoops and adapt to the here and now. This should be in the rant section.

Some of those that will not be named already have more money than they can spend, I think the weather wars are about control.
I mean who would of thought montana would be as warm as florida. We do live on the great northern trail tho that ran from north to south on the lee side of the rocky mountains and some say was a migration path for the ancients...

This warm weather right now just means I have to get more work done outside....no excuse not to when your eyelids don't freeze shut....that weather is still coming.

Skies are cloudless and bright blue.
Without any clouds to hold in the afternoon warmth, it will be very cold again tonight.
