Mid 30s and very windy.
2 fires up toward the mountains that are spreading pretty quickly. Its very dry here and the wind gust is pushing them.

Loco Weather here is NOT agreeing with the Weather People, not even Noon Now and the temps are dropping... Rainless Clouds have almost completely gone with some whisps are going West to East in the upper Atmos while the Wind is coming straight from the North up to 10 mph...!!! Thought I would leave a couple small trees Uncovered to get much needed Sun Warmth but there is No Warmth... Instead of waiting til 3-4 PM, gonna put some-more leaves around their little trunks and leave that for another week as temps are going up to high 50's n low 60's thru weekend and mid next week and drop again... Weather Protections for those trees will be ready before Noon here...!!! Seems the Wx People are changing their 4casts hourly now...

2 inches of snow on top of frosted , granulated ice. 28 degrees in the 4 A.M. when I got Evil Princess’s SUV. all ready for her ride to work. Then our power went out for 3 hours. Same temp now at 2 P.M. SW. Penna.

Yeah, we went out and wrapped the plants this evening.
The weather people keep constantly spewing the 'real-feel' and 'feels like' temps and DW drinks it up.
Yes, we got wind, but it ain't getting down to 27° tonight!!!
Was still 62° at 3pm.
Now the good news: I always listen for the central unit all day, every day, and not a peep out of it for over 2 weeks!
I almost can't wait for the next power bill.

38 for a high today and windy, Tomorrow looks like 17/37. Hope the wind lays down. It's been 10-20mph all day. Did hear on the news tonight both the fires up in the mountains are now 100% contained. A lot of hard work went on the get that done in 1 day

Tell me more about wrapping plants. We live in northern MN and have never wrapped plants. We have covered the garden plants if a September frost is predicted.Yeah, we went out and wrapped the plants this evening.

Storm Darragh to hit tonight around ten with me, though there is a gale blowing all day, and its very wet. Everything's ready to go in case the electricity goes.

Clear and sunny again today. It might get above freezing later this afternoon.
Sun is out now, but had two very light showers come through. A bigger batch around 4 PM. 49°! Brrrr!!!!
